Sustained Acceleration

Wix.com (WIX) has been steadily advancing toward the goals set in 2023. It carried this momentum into the first quarter of 2024 and produced strong outcomes. These results highlight WIX’s product strategy’s efficacy, its growth plans’ deft execution, and its steadfast dedication to expansion that is both profitable and balanced.

Robust Performance Fueled By Strong Fundamentals

The outstanding performance witnessed in Q1 is rooted in robust business fundamentals and significant traction in product adoption, particularly evident in its expansive AI product offering and Wix Studio.

Notably, the AI Website Builder launched earlier in the quarter, has garnered extensive usage, with hundreds of thousands of sites created within just a few months. Moreover, Wix Studio has consistently outperformed projections, with over one million Studio accounts created since its August launch.

Significant Growth Drivers Ahead

Crucially, these accounts have translated into a higher-than-anticipated number of Studio premium subscriptions, underscoring the unmatched design, creation, and workflow management capabilities offered by Wix. The company anticipates AI and Studio to become increasingly pivotal drivers of growth in 2024 and beyond, given their substantial market traction and user adoption.

Strong Start To 2024

WIX has commenced 2024 on a robust note, with top-line growth and profitability surpassing expectations in Q1, positioning it within close proximity of the Rule of 40 benchmark. Noteworthy enhancements in bookings and revenue growth have been propelled by improved conversion rates and enhanced monetization strategies across its user base, alongside robust product traction.

The synergy of strong top-line growth and a stable cost base has resulted in a record free cash flow (FCF) margin of 26% in the quarter, significantly outperforming its three-year plan.
